Licenses, computers & updates

You buy here and download inside the desktop app, using the same account. Sign up with an email and password, or with Google; add a passkey or two-factor from Settings → Security if you like. The app can be signed in on up to two computers at once — signing out inside the app on one of them frees the slot.

Each tool is a one-time purchase — no subscription, no meter. A license belongs to the first computer that downloads the model with it. Want the same tool on a second machine? Buy a second license (each purchase can be repeated), and the second computer claims that one.

The all-four bundle is one checkout that hands you a license for every tool at once, priced below the four bought separately.

Uninstalling Yiddish Tools on the old computer frees its licenses right away. If that computer is out of reach, Settings → Purchases on this website lists every computer your account is active on: press Release this computer, and the next time the app starts there with an internet connection it removes its models and the license is freed. Until then it shows as “release pending” — a license leaves a computer only once that computer has actually given the models up.

Every purchase includes all improvements to the tool through and including the next major version. Buy at version 1.x and you receive every 1.x and every 2.x update, delivered inside the app under Models. When a version beyond your window comes out, the app says so plainly (“Version 3.0 is out, but it isn’t included in your purchase”) and links to upgrade options — it never quietly pretends you are up to date.

Buying a tool again is an upgrade: your existing license simply moves to the current release, and the window moves with it.

Downloaded models are stored encrypted, bound to your Windows account on that computer, and unlocked in memory only while they run. Copying the folder to another PC does nothing useful — the second machine needs its own license and its own download.

Uninstalling the app removes the models and settings from that computer; your licenses stay on your account, ready to be claimed again.
