Each guide takes two to five minutes.

  1. 1 Getting started 5 min From download to your first dictation in about five minutes: install, sign in, pick your tools, download the models.
  2. 2 Dictation 4 min Hold one key, speak Yiddish or English, release — the words are typed wherever your cursor is. Hands-free mode, forcing a language, and the settings worth knowing.
  3. 3 Transcribing recordings 5 min Turn a lecture, interview or phone recording into text — with speaker detection, audio clean-up, a read-along player and optional AI tidy-up.
  4. 4 Translation 2 min Yiddish to English and English to Yiddish, live as you type, with the direction detected for you. Plus the summon key that pulls text in from any program.
  5. 5 Nikud 2 min Add vowel points to plain Yiddish or Hebrew text, word by word aware of which language each word is — and help improve it with one click.
  6. 6 Speak 3 min A natural Yiddish voice reads any text out loud — with read-along highlighting, three speeds, a per-word nikud editor and audio export.
  7. 7 AI clean-up for transcripts 3 min Optionally polish a transcript — fix misheard words, rewrite it as clean prose, or summarize it — using your own AI key. What is sent, when, and how to set it up.
  8. 8 Connect an AI assistant 3 min Hand your tools to Claude Desktop, ChatGPT/Codex or any MCP-compatible agent in one click — so your assistant can translate, transcribe, vocalize and speak Yiddish, on your machine.
  9. 9 Licenses, computers & updates 3 min How a purchase works: one license per computer, moving to a new PC, the update window, and what happens when a bigger version comes out.
